Michael Jordan as a Looney Tune: In 1992, NBA legend Michael
Jordan dressed up as his favorite cartoon character, Bugs Bunny from the Looney
Tunes. He even brought along a few of his friends dressed up as other
characters from the show including Daffy Duck and Marvin the Martian.
Tom Brady as Austin Powers: In 2002, New England Patriots quarterback
Tom Brady donned a shaggy wig and velvet suit to dress up as Austin Powers for
Halloween. His costume was so convincing that he even fooled some of his
teammates into thinking it was really him!
David Beckham as Captain Hook: Soccer superstar David Beckham
went all out for Halloween in 2009 when he dressed up as Captain Hook from
Peter Pan. He completed the look with an eye patch, curly mustache and
feathered hat to become one of the most iconic villains ever!
Heidi Klum - Heidi Klum is
known for her elaborate Halloween costumes, and has dressed up as a werewolf,
an old lady, a butterfly, a robot, and many other creative costumes over the
years. One of her most iconic looks was when she dressed up as Jessica Rabbit
in 2015. She even had a red velvet dress and long red wig to complete the look.
Mariah Carey
In 2017, she channeled her inner mermaid and wore a stunning blue sequin gown with a seashell bra. Her 2016 costume was inspired by the classic movie Clueless, where she dressed up as the main character Cher Horowitz.
Neil Patrick Harris - Neil Patrick Harris is known for his love of Halloween and has dressed up as characters such as Count Dracula, Captain Hook, and the Mad Hatter. He has also been a "Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory" character, a wizard, a box of Cracker Jack, a Mardi Gras king, an elephant, and a "Where the Wild Things Are" character
Kelly Ripa - Kelly Ripa has
been spotted wearing Halloween costumes in public, including a mermaid costume
and a wicked witch costume.
Ryan Reynolds -
Ryan Reynolds has been seen wearing a unicorn costume for Halloween. Ryan Reynolds is
a master at costume play and he proved it when he went as Pikachu for Halloween
2019. He donned a full body suit with ears and tail, making him unrecognizable!
Katy Perry - In 2014, she
dressed up as a Cheeto for a Halloween bash and in 2015, she went as a grilled
cheese sandwich. For 2016, she wore a Hillary Clinton costume, complete with an
American flag-inspired pantsuit and blonde wig. She also attended the same
year's party dressed as a character from The Flintstones.
In 2017, Perry was spotted at multiple events on
Halloween wearing an angel costume with wings and a halo. Later that night, she
changed into a giant pink poodle to attend Heidi Klum's annual Halloween bash.
The following year, Perry dressed up as Ursula from The Little Mermaid and even
posted pictures of her costume on social media.
Gwen Stefani - In 2016, she
dressed up as a sexy version of the character Ursula from The Little Mermaid.
She also wore a black and white striped bodysuit with a matching headpiece for
her performance at KIIS FM's Jingle Ball in 2017.
In
2018, Gwen Stefani channeled her inner cowgirl with a western-inspired costume
complete with cowboy boots, fringe, and an oversized hat. For 2019, she opted
for a classic witch look, wearing a long velvet cape and matching pointed hat.
And most recently in 2020, she went all out with her costume as a "sexy
vampire" complete with fangs and a red wig.
Johnny Depp - In 2012, he famously dressed up as Jack Sparrow from the Pirates of the Caribbean movies. He also wore a Mad Hatter costume in 2010 and a Willy Wonka costume in 2005.
In recent years, Depp has opted for more subtle costumes, such as an astronaut outfit in 2017 and a skeleton outfit in 2018. He also showed up to his own Halloween party dressed as Captain Jack Sparrow again in 2018.
Taylor Swift - She
has dressed up as Olaf from the movie Frozen. She posted a photo of herself on
Instagram wearing a white dress, complete with Olaf's signature carrot nose and
snowman-like features.
In 2015, Taylor went all out and dressed as a zombie version of herself from her "Bad Blood" music video. She posted a picture of herself in full costume complete with fake blood and bruises.
In 2016, she dressed up as Mary Poppins with her boyfriend at the time, Tom Hiddleston. The couple wore matching red jackets and hats to really pull off the look. They also posed for pictures in front of Tower Bridge in London to complete their iconic look!
Kevin Hart - In 2017, he dressed up as Migo from the movie “The Secret Life of Pets” for a Halloween party in Los Angeles. He also dressed up as a giant Minion from the movie “Despicable Me” at a Hollywood party in 2016.
In 2015, Kevin Hart went all out by dressing up as an old man with suspenders and a hat while attending a Halloween party in Las Vegas. He even had grey facial hair and wrinkles!
Jennifer Lopez - In
2018, JLo went all out with her costume, dressing up as a character from the
movie 'The Mask' alongside her then-boyfriend Alex Rodriguez who was dressed as
Stanley Ipkiss. She wore an orange wig and a yellow dress with green tights and
black boots to complete the look.
In 2019, Jennifer Lopez opted for something more classic
by dressing up as Cleopatra alongside her fiancé at the time, Alex Rodriguez.
She wore a white dress with gold embellishments and an elaborate headpiece to
complete her look.
Sandra Bullock - She has dressed up as a witch for her son's school party. She wore a long black dress with a green and purple cape and a pointy hat. For her own costume that year, she went as an astronaut, complete with a white helmet and jumpsuit.
In 2017, Sandra was seen at the Casamigos Halloween Party dressed as Wonder Woman. She donned the iconic red and blue costume with gold accessories to complete the look.
A few years later, in 2019, she attended another Halloween party wearing an all-black ensemble inspired by Beetlejuice. The outfit included pinstripe trousers and a matching blazer with an oversized collar.
Kim Kardashian -
Kim Kardashian has dressed up as characters such as a mermaid, a superhero, and
a flapper for Halloween. In 2017, Kim Kardashian dressed up as Cher from the movie
Clueless and nailed it! From the yellow plaid skirt set to the big curly hair,
she looked like an exact replica of the 90s icon.
Shia LaBeouf - Shia LaBeouf is
known for his eccentric fashion choices, especially when it comes to Halloween costumes.
In 2017, he attended the premiere of his film Borg vs McEnroe wearing a
full-body spandex suit with a skeleton face mask. He also attended an art
gallery opening in 2014 dressed as a giant yellow bird, complete with wings and
a beak.
In
2015, LaBeouf was spotted at the Los Angeles Haunted Hayride wearing a
black-and-white striped jumpsuit and a white mask with exaggerated features.
For the same event, he also donned an old-fashioned sailor costume with white
pants and a navy blue shirt.
Finally,
in 2016 LaBeouf was seen at the LA County Fair dressed as an astronaut from the
1970s, complete with an orange space suit and helmet. He accessorized his look
with aviator sunglasses and a toy gun strapped to his hip.
Chris Hemsworth – He dressed up as Thor for a Halloween party in Los Angeles. He rocked the costume with a red cape, long blonde wig and signature hammer. The following year, he went all out in an inflatable T-Rex costume at another Halloween party.
He posted photos on Instagram of himself walking around the party with the hilarious outfit. Most recently, he dressed up as a giant hotdog for a family outing in 2018. His wife Elsa Pataky shared photos on her Instagram account of Chris and their children wearing matching hotdog costumes!
Lady
Gaga – No stranger to costumes, she
dressed up as a mermaid and in 2011 she wore a zombie bride costume. In 2012,
Lady Gaga attended the annual Casamigos Tequila Halloween Party in Los Angeles
dressed as a skeleton with neon accents. She also donned an elaborate Marie
Antoinette costume to attend the same party in 2013.
In 2014, Lady Gaga was seen at her own “Monster Ball” in
New York City wearing an all-black ensemble complete with a top hat and cane.
For 2015, she chose to dress up as a character from the film Rocky Horror
Picture Show—Frank N Furter—and even performed the song “Time Warp” onstage at
her party that year. Finally, in 2016 she was spotted at another Halloween
party in Los Angeles wearing an intricate white and gold ensemble complete with
angel wings and a halo.
Beyonce - In 2016, she dressed up as Storm from X-Men, complete with a white wig and blue bodysuit. That same year, she also donned a Cleopatra costume with her husband Jay-Z dressed as Pharaoh.
In
2017, Beyoncé wore a glamorous interpretation of the Catwoman character from
Batman. She paired a leather catsuit with a full face mask and long black
gloves for an incredibly stylish look. For 2018, she went even bigger with an
elaborate ensemble inspired by Toni Braxton’s iconic “Unbreak My Heart” video.
Her costume included a strapless dress, long blonde wig and matching hat.
Rihanna - she has dressed up
as her own version of the Pope, wearing a white robe and miter. She also donned
a bright green wig and carried a golden staff. In 2015, Rihanna went as Queen
Nefertiti, complete with an ornate gold headdress and matching jewelry. She
wore a long black dress and heavy black eyeliner to complete the look.
In 2014, Rihanna went as the character Psylocke from
X-Men. She showed up to the party in a purple bodysuit with yellow accents,
along with purple hair and contact lenses.
Nicki
Minaj - In
2018, she wore an inflatable pink dinosaur costume to her annual Halloween
party. The following year, she dressed up as a sexy nun, complete with
thigh-high boots and a rosary necklace. She also donned a black cat costume in
2020 for her "Queen Radio" show on Apple Music. Each of these looks
was unique and memorable in its own way.
In 2015, Miley opted for a more whimsical look and dressed up as an alien princess for her 22nd birthday bash. The costume included an elaborate headpiece and cape, along with plenty of sparkles and glitter. She also appeared on The Tonight Show that year wearing a skeleton onesie complete with glowing bones.
In
2018 she wore an all-black ensemble inspired by the character Wednesday Addams
from The Addams Family. She accessorized with black gloves and white face paint
to complete the look.
Zendaya
- In 2017, she
attended Heidi Klum’s annual Halloween party dressed as the iconic singer
Aaliyah, complete with a midriff-baring crop top and cargo pants. In 2018,
Zendaya channeled her inner superhero as Mary Jane Watson from Spider-Man:
Homecoming. She also rocked an all-black ensemble as Cleopatra for a party in
Los Angeles that same year.
Zendaya attended the Casamigos Halloween Party dressed
up as a fierce lioness. She wore a golden crown, furry ears and a full fur coat
to complete her look. Her costume was so realistic that it even included
whiskers and painted on nose!
Jared Leto - He has dressed up as the Joker from the Batman movies. He wore a purple suit with green hair and painted white face makeup. His costume was so convincing that fans thought it was an official promotional photo from the upcoming movie!
In 2019, Leto went all out with his costume. He dressed up as an alien, complete with a full-body suit, antennae headpiece, and glowing eyes. It was truly out of this world!
Emma
Roberts – She
has been spotted in a variety of creative and iconic Halloween costumes over
the years. In 2017, she attended Kate Hudson’s Halloween party dressed as
Cruella de Vil from the classic Disney movie 101 Dalmatians. She also went to
Paris Hilton’s annual Halloween bash that same year dressed as a zombie bride.
